HUNDRED CLUB GIRLS: TITI FINLAY

Titi is a bundle of energy and inspiration. She’s had every job under the sun (even drag queen’s assistant), before landing her dream role as the voice of ASOS’ social media channels. We took a trip to her funky house for a coffee and chat.

HC: We found your career story super inspiring. Everything seemed to fall into place, like getting the call you got the ASOS job the same day you were at the job centre!

TF: Right?! Trust me, at the time it felt like everything was falling apart, I was working so many different jobs and interning, feeling like I was getting nowhere. But I just believed it was gonna happen somehow, and I made sure to keep asking the universe and opening myself up to any opportunity that could benefit my career.

HC: You’re the sneaker queen-how many sneakers are too many sneakers?!

TF: No such thing as too many! Especially if you keep them in good condition, you can resell them and make a profit when you get bored.

HC: Talk us through your morning routine?

TF: I wake up between 6-6:30 in the morning, and make myself an espresso and celery juice (if I have time). I have a spoonful of apple cider vinegar and chug a litre of water-I’m a bit of a health freak but this helps cleanse your body first thing! Then I do a workout in my living room-either kettlebells, yoga or sometimes I just dance around to good music! If I don’t start my day this way, I end up being super grumpy and can’t focus.

HC: What are your tips for slaying on insta?

TF: Don’t be self conscious and worry what people will think of you. I was like that for ages and it got me nowhere. Make sure you’re putting out content you would enjoy seeing on your own feed. Oh, and it’s not about numbers, it’s about community!

HC: What’s next in Titi’s plans for world domination?

TF: I’m working on some things with my fellow female sneaker heads but it’s top secret right now! My goal is just to be completely immersed in the sneaker industry, have fun and be recognised for my work!
